EOSC Beyond at EGI2025
EOSC Beyond took part in the conference via several contributions:
"EOSC - Services and technologies for EOSC" session
Wednesday 4 June, 14:00-15:30
This session explored the key technologies and services for the development of EOSC, from data management platforms to interoperability frameworks. Attendees learned how these innovations support open science and enhance cross-border research collaboration.
"Software Quality: Ensuring Open Source Excellence 2" session
Wednesday 4 June, 16:00-17:30
In this double session, we explored the critical principles of software quality, including reliability, maintainability, and user satisfaction. Attendees gained insights into building robust systems that meet both organisational goals and user expectations.
"EOSC - Nodes for the build-up" session
Wednesday 4 June, 16:00-17:30
This session focused on the role of "Nodes" in the build-up phase of EOSC, highlighting their contribution to a federated and interoperable research ecosystem. Participants learned about experiences and plans with various types of Nodes.
EOSC Beyond was also featured at the EGI booth in the exhibition, while a poster introducing the EOSC Core Innovation Sandbox was visible in the poster gallery.
The EOSC Beyond project consortium also held its project meeting in Santander as a co-located side meeting of EGI2025, to go over the achievements of the first year of work, including the development of the EOSC Core Innovation Sandbox, the EOSC Integration Suite and the EOSC Execution Framework. Partners explored the current status of the pilot EOSC Nodes within the project and planned the next steps for the second year of the project.
