The second round of the Kraków workshop will focus on a detailed analysis of pilots’ use cases and user stories to address challenges in resource interoperability and composability. Participants will collaborate to identify technical requirements and explore standards for developing a proof of concept that integrates diverse resources into a functional, unified environment. Federated discovery and access mechanisms will also be examined to enhance user activity and interest.
Key Objectives
- Explore technical requirements and standards to enable seamless interoperability across distributed resources.
- Develop a proof of concept for integrating diverse services into a unified, functional environment.
- Strengthen federated discovery and access mechanisms to enhance user engagement.
- Align implementation strategies for scalable, cross-node collaboration.
Workshop Structure
- Day 1: Pilots in Focus
Participants will present user stories and use cases, highlighting core services and integration opportunities with the EOSC sandbox and other nodes. Technical experts will be assigned to each pilot to refine implementation plans.
- Day 2: Collaborative Integration Sessions
Structured discussions will address cross-node service integration, with opportunities for tailored bilateral exchanges. Dedicated sessions will enable deeper alignment on critical technical and operational priorities.
- Day 3: Roadmapping & Review
The final day will focus on consolidating technical milestones, finalising implementation roadmaps, and preparing demonstrations for upcoming project reviews.
Participation
This workshop is designed for invited technical specialists and node representatives to ensure focused, actionable progress. Outcomes will inform the next phase of EOSC’s federated infrastructure, with insights feeding into upcoming project milestones and deliverables.
